Kung Hindi Ngayon, Kailan?

I’m getting my $800 back!

Short back story: Nagbayad ako ng $800 (around 34k sa peso) for French classes knowing na pag complete attendance ako, ire-refund daw nila yung binayad ko.

After 2 months, na-receive ko na (finally) yung confirmation na complete attendance nga ako. Kasi kelangan din daw muna nilang siguraduhin kung wala ba kong late, wala akong nakaaway na teacher or student, mga ganung bagay. Alam ko namang wala akong brineak na rules, nakampante lang ako dun sa e-mail na confirmed na talaga na qualified ako sa refund.

Je ne sais pas pourquoi je suis triste ce matin. J’ai fait du yoga, j’ai exercé, j’ai mangé mon déj avec du yaourt mais je ne vais pas bien. Je pense c’est because of Kenneth.

I don’t know why I’m sad this morning. I did yoga, I exercised, I ate my breakfast with yogurt but I’m not doing okay. I think it’s because of Kenneth.

Compliments

I got compliments on my dress nung umabay ako sa kasal ng pinsan ko. Thank yow! I get my confidence boost from other people kasi ang tipid ni Kenneth sa compliments. Feeling ko na-awkward sya. Ewan ko ba dun. Minsan nga ako na lang nagco-compliment sa sarili ko (why not 😂).

My cousin. Pagkakita nya agad sakin, “Wow you look good ate.” Instant boost!

Fake Twitter #8

Tinatamad akong maligo. Nanonood ng Cobra Kai si Kenneth at kahit dati pa, di ko magets bakit sya na-renew for season 2. At ngayon may season 5 na sya?! Tapos na-nominate pa sya for an Emmy for Outstanding Comedy Series! Huhh?? Emmy? Comedy?? Okay. Maliligo na ko. Dinadaan ko lang sa pagsusulat ang katamaran ko.

Walang “Dug-Dug”

Sabi ko kahapon, for sure kakabahan ako 30 minutes before mag-start ang klase. Eto na yung sinasabi kong free language program ng province of Manitoba para sa mga permanent residents na gustong matutong mag-French (CLIC program ang tawag). Ine-expect ko nang mag “dug-dug” yung dibdib ko pero hindi dumating. Hindi ko alam kung dahil ba may bisita kami kahapon kaya wala na kong time kabahan? 6PM kasi yung klase tapos mga 5:35PM na sila nakaalis so nagmadali rin akong kumain bago magsimula. Wala lang. Ang unexpected lang na hindi ako ninerbyos.

Calm Before the Storm

Tomorrow will be the start of my French classes with Université de Saint-Boniface at hindi ako kinakabahan (for now). For sure, kakabahan ako ay 30 minutes before the class pag na-iimagine ko na kung anong mga pwedeng mangyari, na kelangan kong mag-introduce ng sarili, na baka ma-blangko ako, na baka slow ako at hindi ko maintindihan ang mga lessons… So I will make the most out of my chill self bago ako atakihin ng nerbyos.

Yay start na ko next month! Open lang yung free French classes nila for permanent residents so sana matagal pang ma-process yung citizenship namin. Excited na ko! Plus buti online lang din yung classes. Hihi.

Bonjour à tous! It’s been a long time que je n’ai pas écrit en français ici. Je mange un sandwich au poulet et des frites from Popeyes (mon plat préféré). J’ai aussi commandé ma boisson préférée from Happy Lemon. Pendant manger, je regarde des cours de français sur YouTube.

Ibang Galawan

Bukod sa ang dami kong niluto today (2 dishes and 1 dessert), extra proud ako sa sarili ko dahil nag-grocery ako ng umuulan. Sobrang babaw pero ewan ko. Natuwa ako. Normally kasi, pag nakita kong umuulan, ipagpapabukas ko na lang ang paglabas. Tatamarin ako. Pero hindi ko alam kung bakit iba ngayon. Determined ako masyado na bilhin ang mga missing ingredients para sa menu of the day ko.
