2021 Highlights

I’m back from 2020 Highlights (meron din akong 2017 Highlights)! Sarap lang talaga mag-reminisce. Also, credits to my IG stories. Hindi ko lahat ‘to maaalala kung hindi ako serial story sharer.

• This winter pictorial of the kitties 😻

• I made 700+ sales so far on my not-so-active-anymore online sticker shop.

• Thank you sa mga clients na nagpa-design sakin this year. Special mention sa suki ko na si Dany. Grabe talaga sobrang bait at supportive. Thank youuu!😘
• These symbolic adoptions from WWF. Cute!

• Bridgerton, Vincenzo, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Yumi’s Cells. Also binge watched all the Marvel movies para maka-relate ako kung bakit na-hype yung Endgame.

• Sought medical help from a physical therapist for my wrist (due to almost daily drawing + piano) and a chiropractor (because of my misaligned hip bones). Also tried acupuncture for my endo.

Also, I love my new doctor. Naiyak talaga ako sa sobrang tuwa.

• Kenneth got promoted!
• I tried latch hooking pero ang bilis kong na-bore. Na-bore na rin ako sa macrame. Feeling ko ito rin yung dahilan ba’t na-injury yung kamay ko.

• I discovered Libby (thanks to C-Ann, a book club member)! A total game-changer. Again, thank you sa mga nagpahiram ng library cards nila 😄

• Procreate liked my IG stories *kilig*

Tapos nag-message uli sila later this year kasi gusto daw nilang i-feature yung art koooo. Still waiting for that. But I’m not getting my hopes up.

• Get together with Winnipeg friends and our quick trips with Krixie sa Transcona Bioreserve, The Forks, King’s Park at yung isa pa. Also, Theo was born!

• Plus our own quick trips. As home buddies, parang himala everytime lalabas kami. Favorite ko yung sa Gimli 💙

• Tried to learn French, Korean, Spanish and Chinese. Lawll. I made the most progress in French pero sobrang waley pa din. Limot ko na nga almost lahat.
• Designed Arien and JV’s wedding invite

• Joined #PleinAirpril (an art community ganap where you have to draw for 30 days straight) pero since sa una lang ako magaling, naka less than 10 illustrations lang ata ako

• Enjoyed playing Cozy Grove on Switch. It was fun while it lasted dahil na-budol ko rin si Dyn bilhin yung game at sabay kami maglaro 😂

• Lucy Goosey! Found a mother goose sa parking lot tapos daily ko syang binibisita para ma-witness kung nag-hatch na ba yung mga itlog nya. Kaso hindi ko naabutan. Bigla na lang silang nawala 😢

• I went deep into crypto investing. Nagkaron ng months na all day everyday puro crypto news lang ang kino-consume ko.
• Became a plant mom. First time kong mag-alaga ng herbs at yung plant na binigay ng mommy ni Kat.

• First time ko makapunta sa Bulk Barn. Sobrang eyegasm.
• Got COVID-19 vaccinated. Wala namang pangit na side effect sakin. Sobrang inantok lang ako.

• My new gadgets! Wala akong kahilig hilig sa mga designer bags, sapatos or sa fashion in general; but I’m a sucker for gadgets.
  
  Said goodbye and sold my iPhone XS, Fujifilm X-T30, Wacom Cintiq 16, AirPods 2 and AirPods Pro but said hello to iPhone 12 Mini, Keychron K2 V2, Dyson V8, iPad Pro 11-inch. We also got an Echelon EX-3 Connect Exercise Bike.

• Went back to vlogging. Gusto kong gawin ‘to regulary kasi nag-eenjoy ako pero ang bagal ng laptop ko. Sobrang struggle mag-edit. Plus hindi kinakaya ng storage kasi sobrang lalaki ng files.
• Joined a couple of Jenn Im’s book club discussions (called the Curl Up Club). Fun naman yung discussions, nakaka-nose bleed nga lang.

• Our almost everyday chikahan with Kuya and video calls with my pamilee ❤️

• Videoke session with Kenneth’s workmates.

• The book club is still active! Haha hindi ko lang inexpect na tatagal ng ganito kasi nga may pagka inconsistent ako. We’re on our 3rd year this year 😮 I’m thankful for all the book club members and the community we’ve built. We’re not the most active in terms of daily hanash but it’s nice to be able to get together once a month and discuss our chosen books.
  
  Also read 32 books this year (a personal record). Thank you Pod Sibs Book Club!

• Became a Lunacian! Bukod sa sobrang naadik ako sa Axie Infinity, eto na rin yung naging major source of income ko. Super involved and invested na talaga kami sa ecosystem nila. Kasi player ako, breeder, manager, nagffarm din ako ng RON, stake ng AXS.
  
  Sana magtagal pa ‘tong game na ‘to. Thank you kay Rick sa pag-convince at kay Kenneth sa pag-push. Kasi initially ayoko kase hindi naman ako gamer. Kala ko di ko maeenjoy. Kala ko lang pala. Sobrang nakakaadik.

• Sa mga nagregalo sakin nung birthday ko. Huhu thank you. Para akong bata nung na-receive ko yung mga regalo kaya thank you sa joy na binigay nyo nung birthday ko since rare na ko makatanggap ng regalo.

Parang ito yung year na sobrang dami kong na-explore. Wala masyadong focus pero mukang naging productive at makabuluhan pa din naman. Paalam 2021!
