It seems like October was the last month of my lounging about and doing things at my own pace. Next month is going to be non-stop busy (I imagine)—kwento ko soon!

In fairness to me, hindi naman ako pahila-hilata buong October. Busy rin naman ako sa mga gawaing bahay, working out 3x a week, at sa pagluluto (at sa pagsusulat dito). Pero pag di ko feel, pwede kong ipagpa-bukas ang lahat. Next month wala nang ganun.

Bumawi nga pala kami sa dates this month kasi almost every week kaming kumakain sa labas. Yay!

• Ang dami ko palang sinulat this month about budgeting and personal finance. First was when I shared our Q3 Expenses and my optimism towards recovering and bouncing back from past months’ spending.
  
  I also wrote a two-part series on our monthly expenses in Calgary. Part 1 covers my money system and how I track every cent, while Part 2 goes into the actual dollar breakdown of everything. I actually received a couple of great feedback on this—so thank you to everyone who commented and sent me a DM! 🫶🏼
• Hiking season is over so I came back to my indoor hobbies (journaling and more cooking). I shared my menu for the month and my relationship with Instagram in Life Updates.
• This month’s Happy Things round-up is so cozy! I have my new favourite comfort show, shared a sweet and cheesy moment, plus a pretty picture of pink clouds.
• For some weird and unknown reason, bigla kong naisip yung mga kantang ginawa ko nung highschool. Nakakatawa yung mga lyrics kasi very sad and emo. Pero ang galing kasi tanda ko pa yung lines and melody.
• Another two-part post! This time it’s about how I’m finally staying consistent at eating better and moving more. It has only been 6 months, but it’s serious progress for me.
