After meditating, gusto ko yung sinuggest ni Headspace to set intentions for the week. So napaisip ako at pinicture ko kung ano ba yung mga possibilities for the week ahead:
- I will be in my power/spring/follicular phase so I expect my energy to build up and have more resilience to stress because my estrogen levels will be high.
- Since I am in this phase, pwede akong mag-fast ng mas matagal and my goal is to do one 24-hour fast some time this week. I will also be in a ketobiotic diet to support estrogen production, which is what my body currently needs.
- And since I will have more energy, sakto pala na nag-accept ako ng overtime this week (11 hours from Monday to Friday). I am feeling more positive about it now kasi initially, worried ako na baka di ko kaya. But now that I’m thinking things through, and knowing which phase I’m in, I feel like I can do it.
- Since I will put more hours into working, I will have less time to cook meals, which is perfect timing with my fasting plans. Kenneth is aware of my upcoming plans and schedule, so he agreed to be the chef for the week.
- Longer hours at the office means I’ll have more time to listen to podcasts and audiobooks (yay). Since I don’t have data on my phone, I have to make sure to pre-download them before I go to work. Or else, I will be bored to death.
- Finally, longer hours at work means sitting for extended periods of time. To combat this, instead of the usual yoga, I will try to add a more intense workout in the morning. If I don’t feel like working out, I will at least take a short walk. In addition to that, I will make sure to stretch my legs and take the stairs every hour at work.

After regurgitating my plans. Eto na ang intention ko for the week:
Since I will be quite busy, I will try to maintain a healthy work-life balance by taking a short nap before going to work and lessen my social media use during my free time. I will try to go outside more to be with nature and recharge.
