Happy Things #24 | Diaz Mansion Edition

Noodz

Displaying this Janice Sung print in the kitchen, where people can actually see it. Nasa kwarto lang kasi namin ‘to dati. This was the first thing I hung on our wall and I really love it. Also received some compliments about it which confirmed it was a good decision.

Perfect fit

When I saw this space, naisip ko agad yung piano, hoping na sana magkasya. Turns out, para syang sinukat—and it also left a small space for my yoga mat and dumbbells.

Isingit ko na rin yung happy thing ni Kenneth. Sobra syang excited na gamitin yung unfinished basement as his home gym.

More drawers

Seeing our containers, lids, and all these kitchen items organized like this brings peace and clarity to my mind. I love how everything has its own place now. I’m trying to be mindful not to get more stuff so we can avoid future clutter.

The way to my heart is cat-themed anything

I love this hand towel gifted to us by Trix. It instantly adds personality to the space. This curtain shower is another example.

Speaking of cats..

I get so excited every time new things for the cats arrive. They now have new litter boxes and a taller cat tree! They’ve been using their old ones for over six years, so this upgrade was long overdue. Sorry kitties!

No matter how pretty this cat tree is, I just hope they actually use it. Unfortunately, the wooden planks are a bit too small for chunky Cashew. I tried placing him on it, but it gets shaky. Almond and Walnut seem to like it though. I often see them sleeping peacefully at the very top.
