A reaction/rant to a negative review I read about Emily Henry’s book, Happy Place:

I don’t rely on fictional female characters to inspire my life choices. I read fiction to be distracted and be entertained, sometimes to escape. Some people take things too seriously and rob themselves of pure enjoyment. If you want a “girl boss inspo”, read non-fiction. Read memoirs and biographies of remarkable real-life women. Yun langgggg.
