March Recap

Despite the tumultuous beginning, March turned out to be a fun, social month. I enjoyed March. We tried new food spots, had a movie date with friends (we watched Wuthering Heights), and leaned heavily on food deliveries. So, expectedly, it was also the most expensive month thus far huhu. Bawi na lang ngayong April.

MARCH DIGEST

  • In Life Updates, I talked about enjoying my hobbies while waiting for work to come. I also shared the new shows we’re watching and my current ear candy.
  • On March 12th, I had this frenetic energy—gusto kong magsulat pero buhol-buhol naman yung thoughts sa utak ko. Thoughts Medley was the result of that frantic energy.
  • The Oscars bug bit me, so I spent days watching Oscar-nominated films that caught my interest, then waited in vain for the live ceremony to see who would win. A few days later, I was still riding that Oscars High and ended up writing about it.
  • As someone who moved to Canada with set expectations and got pretty disappointed, I wish someone had told me the realities of what life here is really like. After living here for almost 8 years, Life in Canada is my attempt to give a clearer picture. This is followed by Life in Canada (Kenneth’s Version) which offers a more positive take.
  • I talked about the 2000s Rom-Com nostalgia I was feeling in my Thursday Letter, and how I started to feel a bit lighter compared to the beginning of the month.

Until next month’s recap and thank you for reading! Happy birthday Mommy 🤍
