Sobrang distracted ko panonood ng Crybaby unboxing videos nung mga nakaraang araw na andami kong na-postpone na little tasks, like this monthly recap. Ngayon medyo nag-settle down na yung obsession ko sa Crybabies, but it got replaced by a live feed of bald eagle parents feeding their eaglets. Sooo cute! And I really can’t believe it! Nagugulat na lang si Kenneth pag napapasigaw ako ng malakas.
“AHHHH! OOOMMMMGGGG!!”
“Bakit?”
“NAG-HATCH NA RIN YUNG PANGATLONG EGG!!!”
“Sabi na nga ba eh.”

The first year I tuned in, bugok yung eggs. None of the three eggs hatched. It was quite heartbreaking. The following year, the same thing happened. Then this year, I was barely tuning in (to avoid another heartbreak) when I saw on my feed that the eggs were starting to hatch! Agghhh! I’m just so happy—that I can’t help writing about it in Ramblings #52. The feeling was just too intense. What an amazing thing to witness. I love watching the feeding sessions and wanting to make sure that all three eaglets are being fed equally (as dominant eaglets tend to get the majority of the food). Okay, I’ll stop with the eagle talks now and get on with last month’s recap.
February, the shortest month of the year, felt unusually long to me. I guess it’s because we’re finally caught up with all the leftover things we had to do in January. January was all about getting more stuff for the house, setting up bills, making phone calls, getting insurance, and so on. February, on the other hand, was the time we got to relax and truly settle in. It’s probably why I started the month writing this post:
FEBRUARY DIGEST

- The Subtle Art of Enjoying Alone Time (Without Feeling Lonely)—I also talked about a topic I’m fond of recently: friendships.
- I finally finished my 2025 Game Plan! I like how this year’s goals are simple, yet specific. I also did a 2025 Planner Tour and wrote an early review of my current planner system.
- I shared how I started treating my physical books like a journal by writing and doodling on them in Annotating Books, and how I felt like a genius buying a dictionary in Today’s Log #22 | Days Lately.
- Why I Like to Write was something I’d been meaning to write for the longest time. I guess having a resting bothered face also has its perks, but I shared how it negatively affects me up to now.
- I shared my chicken sandwich addiction in What I Spend in a Week.
- It was a rollercoaster of a week with Thursday Letter #6 | Pain vs Suffering and Happy Things #25. Walnut’s health scare really did scare the bejeezus out of us!
- And hopefully, this is the last time I talk about my TikTok problem, and the last time I second guess why I’m learning French: Life Updates.
Until next month’s recap! Thank you for reading 🤍
