The month of November was our last official month in Winnipeg. We were making the most out of our last few weeks pero hindi pa rin talaga natatapos ang kabusy-han. Ang dami pang kelangan gawin.
Ambilis. One week na lang nasa Calgary na kami. AGGHHHH!!

NOVEMBER DIGEST
- So next week will be our big move to Calgary. Yung first big move namin from PH to Canada, I think that was more of emotional rather than stressful. Yung ngayon baliktad. Taas baba yung stress levels namin. Gusto na lang naming makarating dun para matapos na. Pag nandun na kami saka ko siguro mararamdaman ang mga feels.
- Naalala ko noon halos lahat ng podcasts na pinapakinggan ko, yung topic nila is ChatGPT and how scary it was. My reaction was a bit more neutral than others kasi naisip ko, masasanay din ang mga tao. This thing isn’t going anywhere kaya siguro ambilis kong na-embrace yung technology. Sa sobrang bilis, ang dami na nyang alam tungkol sakin haha.
- There was a week na sobrang emo ko. I talked about adult friendships and my blind spots. But after writing my Thursday letter and listing all the things I’m excited about, my overall mood slowly transitioned to a more positive note.
- One Sunday morning, nasa mood akong mag-share ng thoughts ko on being child-free, and how it can sometimes feel isolating because we’re outnumbered. I received a few thoughtful messages from momshies who kindly took the time to read my ramblings and I was truly touched.
Speaking of momshies, thanks momshie Trix for planning and hosting our early Christmas party this year. Congrats also to the new momshie AJ, whom we visited last week. I forced Kenneth to hold baby Max kasi never pa nyang na-experience makapagkarga ng baby kasi sobrang takot sya. Baka daw kasi mapisa 😆 - Every month, I have a ‘What I Spend in a Week’ post and this time, I talked about my sugar addiction—which showed up in my weekly spending. I also shared my travel fund progress, and a little bit about Bitcoin. So far, I’m doing good on my ‘no boba tea for the rest of 2024 challenge’.
On the topic of spending, I signed up for a 6-month language subscription so I can take French classes again! Tomorrow will be my 10th class and we’ll be talking about household chores.

As always, thank you for reading.
