Spoiler alert: Q1 2026 was one of the best quarters we’ve had in a looooong time (in terms of expenses). Every time ina-update ko yung expense tracker namin at the end of each month, ang lagi kong reaction is, “Kayang-kaya naman pala!”

Let’s start with the percentages, then we’ll get into the detailed breakdown of the numbers shortly.

Kain na kain ng mortgage and bills yung income namin. Pero wala kaming magagawa kasi fixed expenses na yan. Hopefully, soon, in time, kung kelan man yun, in the near future, sana, makahanap na ko ng trabahoww 😅

Doing our quarterly expenses is completely new to me. I usually just compare our expenses month to month and that’s it. But every month is different, so I think calculating the quarterly average would give a more useful snapshot of our spending.
